Does anyone know where all the tree sparrows have come from this winter?
We have never had tree sparrows come to our bird table,until this winter. To date our count is seven of these lovely little birds.
Tree sparrows have been nesting regularly with us for the past two or three years-6 boxes full last year!They seem to disappear in the winter(where?) but return in the Spring.One sign of spring is that I saw a pair inspecting one of the boxes at the weekend!
